Convert from Latitude and Longitude to the V&H coordinate system developed at Bell Labs and used by most Telecom companies in North America to specify central office locations. Or compute the reverse.
Fill in the Latitude and Longitude fields and press "Calculate V and H" to convert from Latitude and Longitude to V&H. The only acceptable format is a single number. E.g. latitude 47 degress, 30 minutes, 0 seconds (47:30:00) must be represented as 47.5. Western longitude numbers must be entered as a negative number. For example, Seattle Washington, USA, at approximately 47:30:00N and 122:30:00W would be Latitude 47.5, Longitude -122.5, which should yield V=6362, H=8919.
